Sounds simple hey?
The way in which you carry out your tasks, however, is quite different from anything previously seen on a Nintendo console.
The game seems to have elements of strategy, and puzzles, all set in a real time world, with the sun rising and setting during the day.
To help find all of the pieces of your ship, you must enlist the help of the planets 'pikmin' extrodinary creatures, than will follow your commands. It's quite possible to control up to 100 of these creatures at once!
To hinder your quest are various enemies, much bigger and stronger than your pikmin. You'll have to use them well if they aren't to be all gobbled up as snacks!
Your pikmin can perform a number of different functions, including building nests and bridges, or breaking down walls or attacking other creatures.
And just in case you're not truely excited about this title, it was created by Shigeru Miyamoto.
