The gums withdraw too, and the face contorts. Apparantly this is where the idea of a vampires elongated teeth come from.

I had my long hair cut off on Saturday, and it's still longer than every picture in that link.

My bad, according to some doctor thing i just read its an "illusion", with the skin like you said. Could have sworn ive heard it been said many times, meh.

Anyways, Gerrid put it better than i did, and he got it all spot on.

Nothing more than getting people to spend more money.

No it doesn't.
Therefore, everything else you said = bull.

It really, really doesn't.
That's all lies.

Your skin shrinks, so it looks like it grows. But it doesn't.

It uses up to much nutrition? What aload of bull!

Your hair and fingernails continue to grow after you die!! You dont have any energy when your dead do you.

Also, you will still use the same amount of energy in hair growth whether your hair be long or short. Think about it. Your hair is only altered when its being produced at the follicle, it cant be altered once its out of there. If it could, we'd never get split ends n that stuff.

Anyways, who would want to live in a country like that! I have my hair long and im proud of it, so N.Korea can suck my tennis balls.

"noting that long hair "consumes a great deal of nutrition" and could thus rob the brain of energy."

Hair is just dead protein matter and requires no energy to maintain. It grows whatever length it is, and, in fact, the shorter it is, the faster it grows, so the more protein it requires. The less you cut your hair, the less it grows, and so the less nutrition you consume. Long hair also increases the insulation of the brain, reducing the energy lost by heat.

So in fact long hair is more efficient, and, by their logic, would lead to MORE intelligent people. We then see the REAL reason for the article:

"Men should get a haircut every 15 days, it recommended."

It's all just a con to get people spending more money, so the government/barbers earn more! Genius.

"The programme allowed men aged over 50 seven centimetres of upper hair to cover balding.

It stressed the "negative effects" of long hair on "human intelligence development", noting that long hair "consumes a great deal of nutrition" and could thus rob the brain of energy.

Men should get a haircut every 15 days, it recommended."

Hahahaha, propaganda at its finest.
