Don't know if anyone's posted this but meh can't be bothered to look through all those posts

Was flicking around the channels when i noticed a channel called pop with a show called Adventures of Super Mario. I thought to myself surely that can't be the original cartoon, it's got to be some remade garbage but no there it was in all its glory, bad brooklyn accents and all.

And to make it even better last night i found they were also showing the original Sonic cartoon as well. Legend!!

Ah takes me back to the days when childrens tv was actually good.

Well, I don't know. I'm not a kid anymore, so my childhood TV probably looks primative and twee compaired to todays CGI rendered extravaganzas. In twenty years time, todays kids will be favorably remembering their childhood TV to their own kids fully intereactive, hologramatic, full sense-o-matic immersion epics. While flying around on jetpacks. Probably. :)

One word. Rentaghost. Emu's World. Oh, that's three.

Hehehehe. Nice to be of help. I remember EWJ so well because of the dogs mantra of "I must not fear, fear is the mind killer etc" from Dune.

The charm of Mario and Sonic, especially Mario is that it's so bad and corny that it's good. Those Brooklyn accents just crack me up, nobody i know from Brooklyn ever talks like that

You're looking at nostalgia through rose tinted glasses there I think. They were all uniformly awful cartoons. Everyone knows Earthworm Jim was the only half decent show based on a game. :)
