I'm confused. That was one of the main things that peed me off about the ghost recon games that you couldn't see the weapon.

I've read in loads of places that on GR2 the new 1st person mode allows you to see the players weapon and even on the advert on TV you CAN see it. The over the shoulder view is great but not as good.

So where is it or how do you get it ???

I like to see the guns in games but this time I will let it slip. With it sometimes just taking one hit to kill you the last thing you need is a gun taking up part of the screen.

They can be misleading. Picture the scene: game content over the entire development period is given to the marketing people, for them to edit as they wish. They won't care if it's playable or not, as long as it means more sales.

Still a good game though.

Those places are lying, or you've misunderstood. You can see them in third person, but in first person you can't see any weapons.
