Nah, I went for the sympathy bids, I’m the son and it was my own CPU and money I wasted. I need every penny cause at the moment I’m in debt for £86, which I lent of my parents to buy the new one.

Yeah I do suck, weren’t helped by the weight and especially no slip pad.

my heatsink weighs like 700g or something stupid and isn't wide enough for the standard CPU pads, yet I STILL managed to get it on without killing my CPU.

Maybe it's just because you suck.

I haven’t got much hope then if I am buying brand new then. Any way I have noticed why have the 3200+ got different colours. You have the common brown one then you have a green one like my old one?

Crap, Crap, Crap, just been and ordered a new 3200+ XP of ebay. I was looking up on the mobile 2500+ but they were going for silly prices on ebay. What are the 3200+ like for O/C? I smashed the die on mine whilst trying to get that volcano 12 on, I blame it on the H/S it weighs a ton and had no slip pad on. Are the multiples unlocked as well?

Normally true, but the Sempron 3000 IS a Barton, running at 2 GHz, making it a tad slower than the 2800XP.

poopots, get an Athlon Mobile. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/AMD_Athlon_XP__Mobile_.html And yes, I do see they are out, but it was a quickly found link to them. They are unlocked and they easily overclock past 3200XP levels. If you have good cooling then you can get them to overclock very highly indeed. Expect around 2.4 GHz with something like the Thermaltake Volcano 12 that I think you have.
