You know those envelopes in magazines, where you tear them open and you get a prize, usually a holiday? Are they a con? Is there a catch, even if they say there isn't? I ask cos I have one in my possession and my prize is a holiday to the Bahamas, includes return flights and accommodation. That sounds too good to be true. Oh, it says terms and conditions apply. Wonder what they are...

The catch could be-you must spend at least 10 hours on the phone to them at £1.50 per minute, or the holdidays are simply crap ones that they couldn't sell any other way, and it's getting near the end of the season.

Aha.
I win in every single one of those.
Amazing.

Here's the thing:
If you win and there's a holiday in one of the top prizes, throw that thing away.

I usually throw them away once I find out I've got a holiday. But a holiday in the Bahamas sounds sooo good. Oh well, in the bin it goes...

Isn't 0870 a freephone number?

It's 0906 numbers that are premium rate.
