Peter Reid has parted company with Coventry City.
The former Sunderland boss has left the club with immediate effect.
Reid has suffered a torrid time since being appointed at the club in May - losing 13 times and drawing eight of his 31 games in charge.
Reid insisted this week that he would not resign as manager, but it appears that he has decided his future lies elsewhere, and Coventry will now look to appoint a new boss.

A great manager who has so often ended up at failing clubs who even he hasn't got the expertise to turn into quality outfits. Thansk to pressure, maangersd always lose out in such situations- even I know you can't trun a club around in a short time.
It is a shame because he is a great great manager.
