true, but the teaser for the Incredibles and the one for Cars are interesting and exciting to watch. they get you interested in the movie. all that the Ringer trailer did was make me go "oh...."
somehow i can't see this foray outside the realms of riding shopping trolleys into kerbs being overly successful.

I thought the whole special olympics bit was just a gag, but it's the entire plot. Sights I'm hoping to see are Johnny Knoxville getting beaten up at mong-boxing, and those kids that have super-human power doing weights. Also pole vault.
I'm saying by explaining the trailer in your post, it robs the clip of the element of surprise - and that is where the comedy is for the trailer.
Telling people what they'll see = not so funny.
