Is there any way of having sub-domains on domains registered on getdotted.com? If not, can the server be set to have wildcard sub-domains?

A bit like ASP I should think.

The reasons for Front Page Extensions have been laid out in the Freeola Ideas forum. Basically they are a security risk and are not stable unless you run them from IIS which is the bigest security risk on the Internet.

Just the way it is I guess.... ain't gonna change, No FPE so, well, deal with it.

And what the hell is the problem with Frontpage Extensions. Why can other servers support them but Freeola can't?

it would also be quite nice if you could leave out the 'www.' in domains hosted at freeola. Rather that getting server not found errors.

Still never mind.

I am afraid that none of these ideas is possible due to the way the Freeola Host files work.
