Anyway, my main point was something I heard him say on the radio (someone might have already posted this view but I don't care).
He said that the rules of football run through all the leagues. I think this does pose a problem as no matter whether Man Utd v Spurs or Satanage v Woking, the rules have to be the same. Can teams such as Wrexham afford all this new technology? After all a game like Stevenage v Woking is just as important to those two teams as last night's game was to spurs and united "fans"... (No doubt Ashman or Quinty will back me up on that one)
But yeh... So I say yes, to maybe video replays on the goal line, but only one real ref is needed and don't bother with silly micro-chips and laser guns...

That's what I was thinking - where the hell would they stand?
But oh well.
Decent idea, just a bit...impractical.

I really wish it did because he's in my dream team.....

I know. The balls too busy hitting the back of the net.
It was about having a sort of penalty area official (much like a linesman) as that's the most focused part of the pitch where the technology would be needed.
That way, decisions could be made pretty much instantly and play wouldn't have to be stopped etc.
Sounds decent to me.
