WWE contacted several independent workers last week asking for tapes and photos. Apparently the company is doing a search to add a few new Cruiserweight-size talents to their roster.

Some of the names that have been mentioned as to being contacted include Jay Lethal and Jack Evans. Of course that doesn't by any means mean that they will be signed, however, WWE has requested a tape of them to see if they are indeed what the company is looking for. From what is currently being reported, RF Video owner Rob Feinstein has recommended several talents that have been contacted.

While it is good to see WWE contacting independent workers to bring up, most sources within the industry feel that the company needs to focus better on the talent that they already have before they go out and sign more superstars.

Don't jump to conclusions. I'm waiting for Vince to watch the tapes, decide that they're not what he's looking for and come to the conclusion that what he actually needs to do, is lift the Cruiserweight weight limit to 300 pounds...
