Take a look at the coding on the page below, and tell me why the little links to next 12 and last 12 aren't appearing on the page. If you're interested, it's a little film review website I'm doing (feel free to have a browse and make cutting comments) and the PHP was coded by evil overlord Bob, and not me, although I did the HTML and designed it.

Cheers, any help appreciated.

EDIT: Oh yeah, they're supposed to be underneath the main listings at the bottom.

Did you ever get this problem sorted out Mr Snuggly?

Nimco, just a note that the shortcut syntax isn't related to the ASP tag setting, but the short_open_tag setting within the php.ini file.

This is the problem I guess;

Somewhere else in the code, $counter is being set incorrectly. $counter should represent the total number of reviews I suppose, clearly it doesn't.

You don't have any problems with the php code not being executed or anything like that. As you can see if you try this link

The Last 12 Articles link is there at the bottom.

It's displaying the nothing.gif, but not the else bit.

I'm afraid I don't know what ASP tags are, I'm not a coder, more a designer.

Do you have ASP tags enabled in PHP.ini?

Does it display the nothing.gif image on the page? Try putting some random text (e.g. "boo") into the code in the if{} statement that contains the Next 12 and see if it shows that.
