I love that bit in Pulp Fiction. The two of them discussing hamburgers and cunnilingus right before going into murder a bunch of people :)

If you want overrated, try Tarantino.

He's good, but with only two or three decent films under his belt he's classed as "great" far more often than he really deserves.

Godfather bored me. There, I said it. But then I've only watched it once, it usually takes a few viewings for me to warm up to certain films (like LOTR)

It's just so long I can't be bothered to watch it again.

And Pulp Fiction was good the first time I saw it, but it got better as I paid more attention to the dialogue instead of just waiting for Die Hard to start beating people up and slicing and dicing with a sword.

Pulp Fiction is a great movie and I would am sure most people that have seen it will agree its at least good. He uses flashbacks well and that goes for all movies he does but i think that just adds to the movie as its different to most other films, well unless he keeps using them then i guess it won't be too unique but you get the picture! I'd would probably see what ever he brings out next just because i'm interested in what the plot would be, who the actors are and how the film is actually shown to us.

I've always thought Tarantino's films were good because of the dialogue. It is unique and nobody else seems to be able to write anything like it. He also uses some of the best actors in the world for all of his films. His films are not as good as Scarface, The Godfather I and II or Goodfellas.

The Godfather is a brilliant film, it just doesn't deserve to come out at No.1 all the time in the polls. I liked Shawshank better.

As for Pulp Fiction.. it's enjoyable but I never really see the huge greatness in Tarantino's films. They're fun to watch sure, but they're all hyped way up.

I wouldn't say Pulp Fiction is overrated, it is very good, but I think that Resevoir Dogs was better. The Godfather is not overrated at all. It remains one of the best movies of all time.
