Hot Fuzz is mentioned in the updated biography's on the 3 disk special edition of Spaced so saying that he's producing a police style film really was meant to be said.

I find myself wondering what the golden age of comedy is that Wookieman is referring to. I mean, Python and Peter Cook are the obvious ones. But lest we forget, there was also Terry and June, Love Thy Neighbour, anything that ITV ever produced...
