For those of you who have your licence, how many lessons did you need before you passed? It's something i'm looking into at the moment but i need to know how much it's going to cost me first.

i completely mis-read that :D

i passed in a vauxhall corsa with my knees tucked up next to my ears.. then bought a camper van so i could have some legroom.
i`ve got a mondeo now. bit of a sell-out, but it costs me SO much less than my camper did.

My mum had quite a few (how ever many over 2 years :s) , though she passed her test first time :)

I passed after about 11 lessons, but then again, I am special.

I also had one "lesson" with my pop.

10 lessons, passed first time. Though it must be mentioned I did a lot of practise in my parents/friends cars ...

I paseed 2nd time as well, skidded on my emergency stop the first time :(

Had 9 lessons and passed on my 2nd test. I did a lot of driving with my dad, though - about 3,000 miles in 5 months.

You getting a van to drag the kids into then Nin? ;D

Around 30-35 I think, with one failed Practical test.

So long ago now, I can't remember. Probably around 40 (and a few tests!), but I was young and couldn't care less about cars back then.
