Looks like another PS2 is heading for console heaven. My disk tray has been behaving oddly as of late either waiting a few seconds after i press the button before it slams back shut, not shutting at all unless i give it a slight tap back into position or just working fine a couple of times. Anyone else had that problem?

Damn it Microsoft why can't you have a console full of RPG's like Sony's black box.

Ah well probably have to accept defeat and start to use the Japanese PS2 :-(

Lakers, do you have your PS2 vertical or horizontal?

Just that it seems PS2's seem to have a higher chance of breaking if they are horizontal.

I'll probably just see how this pans out, if all i've got to do is tap the tray for it to shut each time then that's fine, not going to spend money on a new console just because of that. Only has to last another year or so, should stop burning it out with RPG playing really :-D

I would offer you my old, original launch model, still fully functional PS2, as I've got the new slimline model.

But it wouldn't do you any good, being as you're 'over there'. :-)

And anyway, I want to keep it! :-D

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
