And Ed Murphy funnier than Bob Monkhouse?
These stupid professionals know nothin.
I would have thought he'd be held quite highy among other comics.

There was a documentary about their more explicit act, Derek and Clive last night.
I'd only heard some of Peters tamer material before, but I thought the
D&C stuff was hilarious, but I don't think it is to everyones taste. I might check out ebay for some of their recordings.
As for reccomendations, the clips from the Ad Nauseum record seemed some of the funniest.

AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Oh, I get it - you're being comedic? Very clever.
Wait...no, you're not. You're serious.
Oh my good lord.
Rightfully 5 times funnier than anyone in that program.
Except for John Cleese. Only 2 times funnier than Cleese.
The only thing I can really remember laughing at was the Alien spoof.

You're right.
JOint best film eva.
John Cleese
Eric Morcambe
Woody Allen
Groucho Marx
That's the top 5 (or something like it), all very funny people. Good to see Hicks up high too, not high enough for my liking though.
Can't say I've ever gone out of my way to listen to too much Peter Cook to be honest. Any recommendations? Think there might be some Pete and Dud records downstairs come to think of it.

But then look at Spaceballs.
