Of the ref counting ten yards out every free kick? They hardly ever stay that far back, as soon as he turns his back they take a step forward. Then you also get what happened at the Pool vs Chelsea game today when the player goes to take a free kick only to have it blocked within a yard by a player who's legged it from the side of the wall, aren't you supposed to wait before the balls actually been kicked lads?
Ah well could have sworn it was just a straight smack. Still perfectly valid point though, i hardly ever see a wall get put back 10 yards and actually stay there.
The Liverpool wall was about 6 yards away when it was taken though....

Which free kick are you talking about Azul? I'm referring to the one for Chelsea that was just a bit off the penalty box. I'm pretty sure they just smacked it without anyone touching it.

Yes people jump the gun, but the "good" refs march it out then stand at that distance. They also have the courage to blow up when someone does encroach.
