I recently put a new graphics card into my computer. It works perfectly but when I goto play a dvd in media player I get an error saying:

"Windows Media Player is currently unable to play DVD video. Try decreasing the number of colors displayed on your monitor or decreasing the screen resolution. For additional solutions, click More Information to access the DVD Troubleshooter."

Ive decreased the resolution, changed the "Hertz" display and colours to 16 bit but still it doesnt work. Anyone have any ideas?

Thats a weird problem. I mean, PC should be much easier to work with. After all, they cost way too much then other electronics...

Search for a program called 'DVD X Player Professional 3'.

It lets you watch DVDs from any region without switching the hardware region lock.

EDIT - or just go here http://www.dvd-x-player.com/

I downloaded a naughty version. Tis very good.

Does a box come up asking;

"Please choose the application on which you would like to play the DVD on",

If it doesn't, try downloading a few from t'internet.

Although, i think your problem could be answered by looking at your Media-Player's options, it's in the 'plug-ins' menu.

Or, your media player might need updating.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
