Hmmm ...

It comes with a Logic 3 controller.

Which explains the low price.

A: It's sold out practically everywhere
B: The logic 3 controller's pretty good actually, if a little bulky I've got one
C: It's sold out in the 9 stores near me, and on the net.
D: It's sold out. Bah.

It comes with an EXTRA Logic 3 controller.

If you can get one, then you're a lucky, lucky man (or woman)

I got a GC for £35 from Tesco... I suddenly feel saddened by these normal low prices :(

£35 really is way too low. The machine is worth more than that. But, a bargain is a bargain.

Once bundles for the GC with Metroid Prime, Windwaker or Sunshine for £50, that's when we see the Gamecube take the gap in the market for a cheap budget console, to compliment the PS2 and Xbox, by the balls.

Call me cynical but I actually feel embarrassed about this low price! It just says it all doesn't it.

I have regular arguments with my brother about the differences between the CUBE and the PS2 and i'm afraid this sort of thing will just make him laugh even more!!

Yeah, I was embarrased to see one of the greatest books ever written for £1 the other day. Utterly gutting. More people can afford it, sales of the book shot up and there is an increase in gamers.

But I mean how embarassing.

It's Nintendo's fault, they should have pushed their games more over christmas or at least got Resident Evil 4 out and companies wouldn't be shifting so much STOCK!

Do you really believe that people are suddenly going to go out and buy thousands of cubes because its £40? You can't say that cost stopped people buying the Gamecube, it was the cheapest one all along, if that is what your saying then how the hell have so many PS2's been sold?
