I've got a file that is WMA encrypted, so I can't copy it to my ZEN or anything like that.

Does anyone know any programs that can convert to MP3, and/or remove the WMA encryption on the file?

Failing that, can anyone recommend a program that can record what sounds are being 'sent out' of my PC and store them as MP3s? I know there's loads of them but people might have a few good recomendations...

Thankyooo.

Well it'll work, it's just a long and tiresome process doing it for every song.

That's what I'm gonna try. I'll get back to you on whether it works.

You could try using sound recorder to record the wma as it's playing, then use a program like CDex to convert the wav file produced into an mp3. I've never tried this though, so I can't guarantee it'll work.

Basically you want to rip the DRM from the WMA? Simply put, its illegal so I doubt SR will appreciate such topics anymore than they like topics about copying games etc.

Having said that, take a few keywords from my first sentence and put into google, its very easy to get the answer.

However if you just want to convert plain old WMA to MP3,
