PuroresuPower.com is reporting today that Brock Lesnar will appear for New Japan's 1/4/05 Tokyo Dome event this weekend. Take that for what it's worth as they've advertised Mike Tyson (among others) in the past, who have not appeared.
Also, WWE has a no compete clause which prevents Brock Lesnar from wrestling for any other company, which is still in effect. This won't effect Lesnar appearing for a company, but he won't be able to lace up the boots and work a match (or a fight for an MMA organization, something Inoki also dabs in from time-to-time).

me too, it'd be quite interesting.
if he DID return, he'd have a hell of a time winning them over again. plus if the rumours are to be believed then he'd have to work his way back up to the top, which kinda takes a huge leak over his "monster" character. although some (myself included) would argue that having him run away from Hardcore Holly already achieved that.
