My boss is off because his daughter got stabbed in that London stabbing rampage. I read up on how to look after our kittens who will soon arrive :-)

I sympathise with you, as I am in exactly the same situation. However, I have no work to do, my line-manager isn't in, the head of department isn't in, and the administrator who I also sort of report to isn't in. So I'm just going to be randomly surfing the internet all day. And getting paid for it.
