Does anyone know if you have to have a memory card to create a new team on Madden 05. It seems that when I create my team, I can't use them to play.

I think you have to save it to be able to play.
What you can do though, is take a normal team, and edit the roster a bit as you don't HAVE to save it..
Everyone costs you money, but through selling and buying you can make up a pretty good team.
The Colts might be a good team to try that with, as Manning is on a huge contract, bt I managed to get Culpepper and McNabb as quarterbacks just by trading for Hasselbeck and the other Seattle Quarterback (I can never remember his name)
