How come Henry can come second in the World Player of the Year award yet only 4th in the European Player of the Year? Can't quite see how the voting works there. Not complaining though just wondering :-D

Adriano should have had awards this year. He's been vastly superior to both Shevchenko and Henry. And that's an achievement.

Henry did win the French player of the year award though!

I dont see him winning the Fifa one next year either. If Barca go all the way in europe, then ronaldinho should get it again easy, but Adriano should push him close if he carries on his hot form! (18 goals already!)

The europeon one is voted by the journalists, which makes it rank a bit higher i think. Especially seeing as great minds such as Beckham voted on the Fifa one...
