Ever get that feeling about movies? I think that I've seen lot of movies but I really haven't seen any. I haven't seen anything by the coen brothers, scorcesse or even hitchcock. The list goes on. So many movies. When I come to buying a movie I may buy up to 5 at a time but their is still a billion more. Its a mind boggling thing. Makes me wonder about the size of someone like Jonathan Ross or Quentin Tarantinos movie collection. I doubt that life long film critics have even seen eveything. Then the other thing is what you like. I go through trends of only buying the movies which I like. Which are usually japanese horror and things like that. I am totally ignorant towards many other genres. I keep thinking that I should widen my movie scope and buy something that I normally wouldn't venture into. Such as drama or most movies from the 70's and 80's. I feel that, wanting to study film, I should develop a broader knowledge and at least have touched upon many different movie genres. What do you all think? Do you all feel this overwhelmed by movies?

Sorry if this is a load of crap but it just seems, to me like a relevant question which I have been musing about

Some good points there.

But why the hell do you have Jonathan Ross in your list? Beside Quentin Taranteno? Ross is a donkey rapist, worse than the dog crap you wipe off your shoes.

Anyway.
It'd be pretty good if there was a movie channel with absolutely nothing but movies, as there are alot of great ones out there that never get shown. The Monty Python films for instance. Sheer brilliance but not often on terrestial television. Films like Bridge on the River Kwai get shown instead. Who watches that? It must be on at least once a month.
