I've got a USB pen drive thangy (I asked for it, it wasn't my parents' idea of fun) but I wham it in the USB slot on the front of the PC, which was also previously assigned to my Zen player (which no longer is) but it wont auto-detect it because it beleives there's a Zen there.

How can I manually install it?

Dont you have drivers for it?

its windows XP so it's *meant* to recognise it automatically. I think I need to disasocciate the USB drive with the ZEN, which I truly have no idea how to do.

There are drivers, but for windows 98.

Cant you run them in compatibility? Or maybe if you want to avoid hassle buy a USB hub?
