I've got a new HDD and stuff.

Now, I want to make this current drive (40gb drive) a spare slave drive thing (yeah) for just random data and stuff, while the other new one is the master drive etc.

Anyway - to do this, I take it I just set the jumper on the new one to master, and this one to slave?
Cheers.

Anything else I should know?

It's a bit late now...

And because the old drive was only 5800rpm and was old and crap and stuff.
And was only 20gb. God knows why I said 40.

Why not just use the 40GB as the master and the new one as a slave?

That way ya don't need to format...

Ha.
This means you're going to have to format the 40GB, and install Windows afresh on the new one.

Along with all your programs and shiz.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
