Basically:
If I'm masking my IP when browsing I can use a proxy to do so, so does this mean:
- I only need to equip the proxy when I am browsing with that browser?
- I can switch the proxy off if/when I choose
- I only need to apply the HTTP proxy, nothing else? [for browsing]
- If I am browsing with Firefox I should just put the proxy in the firefox options, or is the IE proxy a general browsing proxy?
Cheers for help. any more info It'd be great to dicuss it with someone who knows their stuff - my msn is [email protected]

However, hypothetically, if I was to be using illegal downloads, I would use environmental settings to mask my IP there... hypothetically? Right?
