Hi, ive been looking at surround sound setups for my pc and have found two different systems, first the logitech z-640 5.1 set and second the Creative 250D 2.1 THX set
Anyone got any experience with either system? Would it be worth the loss of rear and centre speakers for the THX certification?

5.1 sounds better obviously, but its a right pain in the ass to set up all the speakers.

You will get better quality of sound from 5.1
It'll make a fuller effect.

5.1 mate all the way. Brings a whole new level to your gaming.

Depends what you want it for. If it's gaming, then probably 5.1 would be better, but for listening to music etc. the better quality 2.1 would be better.

Yeah but would the quality of sound outway the disadvantage of not having surround sound

Well, 2.1 isn't surround sound.
It's 'front and around the sides a little bit sound'
