I managed to get today off because my boss was in such a good ol' Christmassy mood.
"I don't see any reason why you shouldn't come in"
"Aww, are you sure? I really don't mind coming in tomorrow. At all."
"Nooo, have it off!"
Mwaha..
So now I'm wasting it here instead of hoovering, showering, shopping, collecting. Balls.
Merry Christmas!

Snap. I'm only here to do some last minute banking but I've done sod all work wise. Once the cleaners have been (they said they'd be here early, approx. 10.30) I'm outta here.
When I worked in a shop I felt I was actually helping people get what they needed for Christmas and to help the company earn some money.
Now I'm just sat here in the office randomly surfing the internet. None of our business users even know we're here today and 90% of our suppliers are shut. So there is nothing to do. At all.

Yep, thats why im starting to save up my money, my mum keeps saying that she isnt going pay for any of it (i know she will a bit) so im not spending much at the moment (apart from presents for other people).
Just too bad i couldnt work today and get all that extra money. :(

Yeah, you can't argue with that can you? That's the reason I once wroked 9AM - 9PM on Christmas Eve. I was too worn out to get excited on Xmas day. At the time I was trying to get enough money together to last me through my final year on uni. I did think I had enough, but by the end of that year I had managed to run up nearly £4,000 on my student loan and £1,500 on overdraft. Tis expensive being a stude...

True, but im only 16 (17 in January) so its pretty hard for me to get a proper job, especially with college and stuff.
Still though 18 quid an hour (roughly tripple 5.95) wasnt bad.
