Was 45,000 to little a 'punishment'?
Should have been alot more imo. Their were even reports that it could have led to their future games being played 'behind closed doors'
Did anyone expect them to do anything serious to Spain? Unless the country involved is England then FIFA doesn't really care
I read in the paper today that the referee didn't even mention any of the racist chanting in his report!
the punishment shows they aint condoning it. But you cant come down too heavy when it happens just out of the blue like this. If they continue doing it the next time black players play there then they should come down heavyon them and be forced to play behind closed doors and the rest.
You can't condone racism - whether first offense or 50th.
First offense though really for them. Do it a few more times and they will come down more heavy.

45 million would have been quite a lot.
