1) www.play.com

2) www.imdb.com

imdb - Internet Movie Database. I use it to get reviews of films I am interested in watching on TV that I have no clue about. Don't know if it does DVD rankings, but good for reviews and plot summaries all the same.

Like I said I'm only starting now and I know that with all items like DVDs, really old DVDs can be found for next to something at places which aren't your run of the mill amazon and play and stuff.

Big Fish
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind

...oh you didn't want recommendations, still they'd be an excellent way to start your collection.

I get most my DVD's from Play.com and CD-WOW.com

sendit.com are cheaper than play for some things, but more expensive on others. I just shop between the two.

I'm all open to suggestions, as longas they're not rediculously blatant ones. Mainly hidden gems please!
