You know when you shutdown the computer and it says "It is now safe to turn off your PC". Well most PC's jut turn off automatically, but i have to wait to press the button on mine. And it's annoying, it's not an old PC and i would of thought it would do it automatically.

Is there a way to make it do it? I cant find anything in the bios or anything.

Check Power Options in the control panel.
I have a feeling it might have been there.

On my old PC, it started making me press the button to switch off the computer after I upgraded from windows 98 to XP, then I changed a setting somewhere to make it switch off automatically.

However, that was over 2 years ago, so I can't remember exactly what I did.

Nope, never done it automatically before.
I dont know if it's AT power supply. But i know it's not spyware or a virus that's causing it.

You sure it's not an AT power supply? They don't support the PC switching itself off. Has it ever done it automatically?

There is a way to stop this. I used to have the same problem.
I can't remember how though.
