It seems to me that recantly on SD the writers have destroyed Kurt Angle's charactor, he is no longer the cheerful and patriotic person that he once was throughout 00-03. Or is it down to Kurt growing an ego, which would make the stories on the net about him being hated by other wrestlers backstage true.

I keep thinking they are going to make him a face character because he was taking on the very hated JBL, but then Big Show is added to the match and he is the favourite. Just as i think he is going to be face they make him heel, like in the Invitational when he hit the bloke with the mic.
