How about Arnie? a sort of commando rip off that allowed you to collect lots of weapons from your simple tommy gun to lasers and electro guns. The levels were repetitive, tedious, annoying and difficult. Completed it, but oh my god was that game so difficult and sad. The ending was rubbish.

Now fireforce was MUCH better! although it was very easy. Simply arming yourself with a combat knife and lots of medikits was more than enough for you to complete the game.

I don't think so, it was made by some small company that i've never heard of and it was on the amiga.

How i was stumped on the third mission to destroy those missiles. Turned out that the only way forward in that level was hidden behind some boxes. Great game. Blowing bridges, houses the lot.

But again, oh so easy to beat the game. Run, duck, stab, repeat. Mines fields could be passified with a couple of grenades and some enemies ran onto their own grenades eventually.
