Meh! The whole JBL gimmick is great. Shame hes not. Who knows.. However its meant to be Angle V Taker at Wrestlemania. So soon hopefully.

as much as i like JBL its time to give someone else the title.

If it was all about mic skills and backstage segments then JBL would be a worthy champion however as we are in the wrestling trade he's a poor champ
Bluergh, Angle vs Taker at Wrestlemania? Sounds like a mis-match to me.

JBL as the Champion on Smackdown is not a good decision. There is no doubting his ability outside of the ring. I used to find the A.P.A skits quite funny. His in-ring ability is poor at best, which has been mentioned already.
It certainly was an interesting decision by the WWE to make JBL the champ considering that the WWE were going to punish JBL for the Nazi gesture he made in Germany. I think that was correct. He got the title soon after.
As long as you've got a character that interests the hierarchy, punishment results in a nice long title reign...

But, the whole JBL title reign, to me at least, seems like Vince giving the 'V-Sign' to the IWC. JBL is a figurehead of their hatred, so Vince made him champ just to have a dig at them. It is not good business sense, Vince, to attempt to alienate any fans, even if they are your most vocal critics.
