It seems as though Bolton always get into the playoffs of division one and always make the final, play the game as the better side and unfortunately lose the match, condemning them to another year of 50 games + a season. I watched the final last season against Ipswich, and I really did empathise with the Bolton Supporters. I was fairly surprised to see Watford slip up after such a good start to division one again, seeing as they were basically the only team in touch with Fulham, but they haven't even made the playoffs! Bolton finished a comfortable 3rd. I'll by cheering for them.

The championship was always going to Craven Cottage - Fulham have been astounding all season, and have rarely shown signs of faulting, nor have they had a bad run at all. So the second automatic promotion spot would prove to be the next best thing and something only Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers really had a chance of making, Bolton haven't beaten Rovers this season, and they now face the challenge of the semis and the final! Bolton Wanderers have a wonderful stadium, the Reebok Stadium accomodates the faithful 25,000 supporters - lets just hope they never change the kit supplier. That'd be an expensive ground change!

For me there have been three outstanding players at Bolton - the whole team have achieved a lot this year, and I am sure they will go up through the playoffs, but I won't jynx anything just yet. Michael Ricketts has managed to score around 21 goals this year - a superb tally for such a young player, and I predict he will be an England star. Per Frandsen has been bought and brought back to Bolton from rivals and neighbours Blackburn, and he has had a very good season for the Wanderers. Dean Holdsworth a brilliant ex Wimbledon player should stay with them next year and score a few more - he's been superb so far for them. Does Mark Fish still play for them?

I predict a playoff win, and promotion back to the Premiership - Sam Allardyce has done wonders for the wanderers after Colin Todd left...!
