Steven Gerrard has had an absoulutley fantastic season. He has been voted by the P.F.A as the Young player of the year, he has broke his way into the England set up and has been given praise by many fellow professionals, which is sometimes more of an honour.

He hasn't got a set position which helps as he can play anywehre in the midfield and even at right back if needed. He can certainly hit a ball well and has scored some amazing goals from all ranges this season. The main pick of the bunch had to be the wonder 30 yard strike against Manchester United.

He has progressed from the Liverpool Academy, which is set up very well and has produced some top quality players, to mention Michael Owen.

If there is one problem with Gerrard it has to be his fitness. He has a problem with his muscles and bones. He is still a yong lad and his body is still growing. After each game he has put in so much effort that his body takes days to recover so he has to play one, then miss one. This is a great shame but is shore to end soon and he will be starting every game for Liverpool and England.

He is certainly a star for the future, maybe even an England Captain

Why should Gerrard play for Arsenal??

His fitness problems have improved alot over the season, as he has just played 3 games in a week so things are looking good for the future of Liverpool and England!!

I thought I'd be the first to reply - I'm new to the site today, and it seems no one wants to reply to you! Aww, well Steven Gerard should play for Arsenal I really do believe that!
