PC and Xbox to a router. Automatic set IP's for both.

Still the same error. How is your connection setup i.e. PX and Xbox to a router, or using ICS?

I ftp mine whilst it's on the Evo X main menu and it seems to work ok.

The user/pw combo worked, but now I've got a new problem. Apparently it can't retrieve the directory listing from the xbox.

When you're on ftp.

Username = xbox
Password = xbox

Yeah. I tend to use Avalaunch though as EvoX resets my Live settings. I'm using a router as the bridge, assigning the same IP iddresses (save the last digit) to each, and choosing the FTP client option while running an FTP program on my Pc... but it needs a password, despite not having assigned one in the first place.

If I can get it to connect I can play Pro Evo with real names, at last.
