Okay, so I got an Xbox last year with a few main titles (halo, PGR etc) but havnt bought any games this year down to uni and my fave games being on my PS2.
But i saw that on a site that likes to play<->game(s) were doing two EA titles for £50! Ordered myself Burnout 3 and Def Jam fight for NY. Played Burnout 3 on a mates PS2 and loved so i thought i buy that, but the other game was a toss up between Def jam and NFSU:2.
Anyone got Def Jam fight for NY? What ya think of it? I got Vendetta on the GC and loved it. Should get these in the post tomorrow :)

Got them both this morning. Havnt opened burnout yet, but stuck def jam straight in and lovin it. They've made it a hell of a lot harder i've found, and thats coming from someone whos got every single fighter made by these guys going back to the first wcw game.
the story mode is class, similar to the last one but improved loads. carmen electra is my current girl friend. Snoop dogg is the big dog in this one, and looks super fly.
The best thing i like is the introduction of weapons, no idea why they wernt in vendetta, but glad they got em now. Knocked out one guy with just one blow of a hammer :)

I've marked it as a 'pick up when cheap for a quick blast' type of purchase.
It becomes obvious it'll be shortlived if you give it some thought.
For cheap arcadey stuff with longevity I'd go for Serious Sam/Rallisport Challenge/a Buffy game

It is rather good. I just got bored of it too quickly, what with there being so many other games out that were better than it. I'd choose that over NFSU though.
I wish they'd stuck with the Wrestling set-up of the first game for Def jam, but just chucked in all the back stage and match set-ups that were missing from the first.
Having said that I've only played the demo which was really short so the full game might be a whole load better.
