Does it actually work online yet - even just Pictochat? Or just through the wireless short-range thinger which you can't use within 9 meters of someone with a pacemaker?
I thought it was pretty much touted as ready-to-go-online right from the box. Of course, not having a wireless internet connection, or even a half-decent one, I wasn't too bothered.
Just a'wondering.
Also: anyone found any better alternatives for the thumb-strap? It was annoying me, because I could never get the plastic bit to sit right on the tip of my thumb, which is what I'd naturally use to control it - and found it quite awkward lower down on my thumb.
I'm using the top off a chap-stick thinger now, which works fantastically (although it's a bit tight, so hurts after a while) - I'm hoping someone'll make a decent, solid one that actually goes over your thumb eventually.

Just wireless I think you can get wireless bridges for £40, I have one for my laptop, I can't be bothered having huge ethernet cables lying around.

He always said the game was a demo at the time...
There has never been a concrete release date for Mario 128.
And besides Miyamoto does not make online connection.
I believe it will just use wireless but a cable would be a good idea.
As for online, its not up yet but both Nintendo and the warp-pipe creator dudes have plans for it, so it seems more than likely that we'll get it next year some time.
