Suffocating all that once was pure
My skip-a-beat heart left wondering
If I'll ever again see the shore.
Cast out on open waves
I'm left to sink or swim
Drowning isn't a choice
It's an inevitability within
Blinded by her starry eyes
her hands so cold to touch
What once was so important
Now doesn't mean so much
I love you, hate you, undecided
But I promise I'll let you know
You're poison, distant, heart of ice
like a figure made of snow
Hips they buck and sheets will crease
and stain your bitter-sweet youth
Amid faux moans of ecstacy
Dwells fates undying truth.
