How about a game based on Stargate.
You could control Sg1 in a Syndicate/cannon fodder/command and conquer way, travelling from one planet to another completing the missions with the aim of the game being to over come the gould or the become the fith race???

Could work, its hard to find good squad based shooters!
Heard of the film but dunno if it would be a good game.
