Ok, I am on disc three about to go down into the north crater and fight Sephiroth when I realise I've missed out on alot of materia, limit breaks and ultmiate weapons, so I decide to go back into the highwind and collect all this. I have gone to the lonads of snow to get the Alxander materia.
After snowboarding down the cliff, touching the hot spring and speaking to the ice woman, I have now got it but there is one major problem. I cant get out of the lands of snow! The man at the base of Gaea's cliff wont let me go up it and I cant seem to find any other way out. has anyone else had this problem? i would hate to have to restart the game after getting so close to the end!
any suggestions?

What amazes me is how often I see topics here from kids asking for help on this game, which is practically retro now. Just goes to show how you can't keep a great game down!

dude u can let aeris live only problem is tifa dies way to do it is from start neglect tifa and only pay attention to aeris and when movie comes and aeris is about to die tifa jumps in way and aeris lives

The first scene when you leave the map onto the route that takes you to Gold Saucer Casino, you know, that mountain you go up into the sunset...
It was only a bitmap picture but it did the job sweetly.
So did the music.
I'd like to see a remake though.
Especially if they'd let you revive Aeris! :-)

yeah it maybe lame but look at the graphics + its a PS1 + its ancient but none the less great game my personal oppinion is Final Fantasy are the best RPG's there are maybe even the best of all

he got me every ultimate weapon and every materia to master and i just go around for fun and as for ur problem id check all along the base of the cliff and there will be a way trust me ive completed it and had 100% there is a way BTW GOLDEN SAUCER + GOLDEN CHOCOBO = OWNAGE FUN :D
