Last night while playing on OPS2M's brilliant GT3 A-Spec demo from a couple of months ago, I noticed on one of the replays that in the background there were a number of Formula 1 team logos - including the Hornet from the Jordan team and the Red Bull from the Sauber team - on the advertising boards.
I know that there are F1 cars in GT3 but these are "fantasy cars" from the 70's and 80's.
They may have been taken out in the final version, but I saw them on the Leguna Seca circuit. The demo was taken from older code (January 2001), so was this meant to be a clue that the game would eventually include F1 cars?
Who knows.

Yep it does. I have been on the GT3 board on gamefaqs.com, and i have been reading posts people have been posting. All I can say is the game sounds so good, I really wished I had a Jap PS2 as I would import the game right now. I also have read a faq which has all the different races you can race in, and there are tons of championships. Also the good thing is that you can save your game in the middle ofg a championship. You need to change your oil in the car, the sound of the car changes when you put a different muffler on it. There are so many improvements to the game. One person had the demo and went to the shop and saw the same race which was on his demo but on the real game and he couldnt believe how much the graphics had improved.
Still, at least that guarentees the final product will be even better!
I thought it was the Jan code of the game but its not it was the Sep 2000 code. As its the same demo that was at the ETSC show.
Good, that would add even more variety to the already extensive array of cars!
The guy behind the game wanted f1 cars to be in it.
That`d be great if there were loads of relevant logos around the track!
