An interesting game if only for the names on the score sheet.

Viduka scored in the 9th minute with his first goal in thirteen games but 30 minutes later Fowler equalised and the score remained at 1-1 until half time. After the break, Viduka scored a second and was quickly followed by Hasselbaink (who also has failed to score for a long time) who scored off a free kick. However, in the 80th minute, Bradley Wright-Phillips scored in his Premiership debut. City had a few chances to equalise before the end but the score remained at 3-2.

It also means that Middlesbrough are still 5th in the table, only 2 points behind Man U.

I saw "B. Wright-Phillips" down on the Man. City squad list for this game over the weekend, and thought it was another one of the BBCs mistakes - like how the had re-named the LIVERPOOL team to "Aston Villa" on Friday night, prior to their 1-1 draw.

Looking at Bradley, though, it looks as if someone's taken a clone of stumpy Shaun, stood on both his feet and yanked him up by his ears.
Same face, same everything... Only, one's been stretched (or, was Shaun squashed?)

Very good game though. That Blobby Fowler goal really did come out of nothing - trust him to score, eh! Same goes for Viduka and Hasselbaink - several weeks after a take the two out of my fantasy football team in favour of Rooney and van Nistelrooy, the points come flying in! :P
(Ah well, Baros should be back now.)
