I've never seen them, but things have been moved in our house by who we believe to be my nan who passed away in our house.

the butter used to get moved from the fridge, to the sideboard where she kept it (she was bed bound)
We never saw it move but for a week, it just ended up there.
we also heard her laugh one Christmas from the room
It wasn't scary, my mum had always felt her presence, some people are more sensitive I guess.

This has always fasinated me, do you believe in them?

if so, any stories?

yay, getting slighly back on topic.

at the old railways station, that is now a youth club when I was younger, the ghost there used to walk through the door religiously at certain times in the evening.

you went all cold for a very brief second as he, or she walked through you.
