I think your the guy who's intested in animation as a hobby, or am I confused? Whatever. Anyway read in a magazine today that there will be a competition on gorillaz.com (Yes, the cartoon band, but don't be put off).
You can submit all kind of stuff, and It mentioned you could submit animations too, competition opens later this month and an eventual winner will be picked next June, but the cool part is your work will automatically go in a gallery on the site, if it's good enough the actual Gorillaz (or the people behind the cartoons) will pick it out and out in in like a special gallery, and either way you can get feedback and stuff on your work.
Might interest you, as a chance to see how your stuff competes with other stuff and what people think of it?
