I know that dice indicates 2 cubes each has 6 faces marked from 1 to 6, but can the word "Die" be considered as only one of these 2 cubes ?

It sounds like it could be used for both, like "sheep" for example. But the correct term is "die" for the singular and "dice" for plural.

Yeah, that's what I was given to understand. Although I believe the terms are now more or less interchangable.
